I have been a blog bum, yes I have to admit it. We are still adjusting to having the kids in school and speech so I am now the official taxi mom going to and fro. I wouldn't change it for the world!!! Ok, once I get it together and transfer my vegas pics from my laptop I will DL them here, promise!!!

Viva Las Vegas!

So much to post and I can't even imagine where to start!!! Here are some pics from the last few days. I was blesssed to meet some of my friends and make some new ones. The Ali's and Lisa I figured would be a good start with the pics. I just adored meeting and chatting with these ladies. They gave me hope and pumped me up to scrap!

Grease Lightning...

She runs like the wind in her new kicks. I could barely keep up with her with the camera but I managed to grab a few good clicks. She loves princesses, shoes and running from mommy so this was a happy combo for her.

Day two of firsts...

Today was Sawyer's first official day of pre-school. He was very upset with me because I wouldn't let him wear his red crocs to school. he kept crying for his "red shoes". I finally was able to get him excited about going to see Mrs. Lewicki after bribing him with a few M&Ms. When we got there he was heartbroken because another little girl had taken the #5 which was his # during summer school. With his delay he doesn't take change very well so it really threw him for a loop. regardless, I was able to capture a few precious moments. Here they are to share with you all.

Inspiration

We all seek inspiration from different things. Books, TV, people, so many things for us to grab ideas from. I never know when the next idea is going to hit me or where it is coming from. Things just flow, or they don't for that matter. The one thing I do know for sure is my insiration to enter SOY came from Jody Ferlaak. Her and her family are forever wrapped in my heart. I have never met her, just a few PM's here and there. Her LO's tell her story for her. That is what I know of her and admire of her. The simple fact that all I know of her, I read in a LO, and yet I have never seen her face to face, I still feel as if I have known her for years. that is a true scrapper and story teller. That inspires me.

and new pics. Here are the pics of Jackson's first day of school. We were running late due to an early morning party held by Sawyer ( he jumped into our bed @1:30 am). So although we were all tired, we were running on adrenaline and out the door by 7:20. the parking was a nightmare so we parked in the neighborhood and walked in. It was the perfect fall day. I could smell the sweetness of the trees and although it is still summer, there was a crispness in the air that reminded me of autumn. There couldn't have been a better day to have the first day of school!
This is the first of many great days to come!

Bed Blogs

My DH (the phantom of the scrap world) has just made it so much easier for me to blog, scrap, etc. He bought a wireless router and hooked it up so now I can do my computer things just about anywhere (within a 400 foot radius).

So I decided to test the range and sure enough it works in bed! The only problem is that the sound of the key strokes is waking him up!

ALL Digi POP LO~

So last week I was thinking about what a popscrapper I am. Not just that I use what design is popular right now but that I actually scrap things relevant to the now or recent. My titles and concepts are directly related to TV, commercials shows, music, art, anything that is in the now or has impacted my life. So with that being said I thought this was the perfect title for my little ones LO of the first time she dressed herself.

total entries in my blog contest! WOW you all really know how to make a girl feel like a celebrity! So how coming up with a random winner was tough with 120 entries. So I wrote every blog poster down in the exact order that they posted and numbered them and had James pick a winner.
