Clear paintables~

Well, I have to say these were the highlight for me! as many of you know, I LOVE my alcohol inks and these only contribute to that! This concept is amazing, an overlay that you can use as a paintable. the girls were using sharpies, copic pens, (which are an artist pen with a bendable tip), alcohol inks, stazon inks, souffle pens, glaze pens.... the possibilities are endless!!!

If you would like to see more of what Prima has this season, check out their blog. They have ALL of the new stuff from the show there, since I am working at a snails pace, loading up all of my pics!

This week was a bit crazy, after the show me and teh kids were down with a little something. Our computer crashed last week, keeping me in internet isolation. Oh and Erica, I did not get any pics of the DUDE line, I can not believe that I missed it! You will definately love it for Mickey! Here is a link that Prima has of a pic of the line. This was a very popular line, perfect for boys, girls, teenagers, vacation, birthdays, it is a ver versatile line.

ok,back to normalcy again!

Pics from CHA, New Prima

Here are the first pics of CHA, Almost all of my pics are of the Prima booth, but I asure you there was alot there, so you will get an eye full! These are the new "Build A Swirl" Stamps and Crystals. A great concept that adds depth and texture to your pages. First you stamp, and then you lay the crystals that fit perfectly, right on top. Just one of the new systems Prima has come up with to give your product more uses, and added effect. They also have coordinating stamps with chipboard alphas as seen in the example.

Enjoy your Monday! We are off to the Zoo!

photo editing at it's finest!

And I only say this because to me this is brand new!!! After CHA, I just wanted to run home and get reaquainted with my digi scrapping. I have had a few things that I have been wanting to try, so today I googled... "tutorial for pse4 vignettes" and Voila! up popped a tutorial on how to make your own vignettes. I really want to bust out my Renee Pearson books again. I love the ease of her tutorials.

So if this is new to you, here is the link to practice for yourself.

http://www.all-things-photography.com/create-a-vignette-effect.html

It is super easy and adds a nice touch to your pic. You could also do it in a reverse to ad a glow.
The bottom sample pic has a soft vignette on the corners and the digi brushes are found here: http://www.brusheezy.com/brush/590-Floral-Brushes
(these are just to pretty to pass up!)
Let this open the door to my fellow amatuer editors!

Who would have thought that a pic of my DD having a bad hair day would come out so cute!
Have fun and enjoy!

Home from CHA...

After six days away from my family I am so happy to be home. I do have to say that I had a blast. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. It was surreal. When I get my energy up, I will post pics. Not to much of the floor or any other product I am afraid. I was too busy to sneak away from our booth. But I can say that I am very excited with what Prima is coming out with!

thanks again for your prayers for me and my family. We are doing great but are still on an uphill road.

Choices...

Everyday we are faced with choices. Choices that shape who we are and who we aspire to be. This week has been a huge trial for us as we have been faced with very difficult choices. Through prayer and fasting we have come up with a plan that best fits our family. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers this time.

Please also keep in your prayers my friend Hiedi. One of the people I attribute my childrens character to. She is being faced with trials that completly dwarf ours right now and could really use prayer.

As I began this year I felt the burden of change but yet the relief of peace for this new season. I had no clue it would all come on so soon or exactly in this order. But all I can hold on to is that the hand of God is on the situation. As we cry out to him daily, that is the source of my peace. This week has been surreal with emotions and heartache. A true stomach turning emotional rollercoaster. Our family is stronger and rock solid, but still our struggle continues. I can not thank God enough for bringing me my husband James and revealing to me just what a man he is and what his potential is. With every trail that we face we become more solid, and I am reminded of just how much I love him.

Thank you for your love and prayers.
